My Story
Over the decades there are a few things I have learned. It doesn't matter my mood, or feelings, or how tired or energized I feel, there is always a reason to make popcorn and bake.
I remember the younger version of myself making Lemon Meringue Pies for the local restaurant to go on a Girl Scout adventure. Eventually, I made wedding cakes for friends and co-workers getting ready for their big day. And, if i saw a new cookie recipe, you could count me in to try it.
Of course, my husband of 20 years has never complained about me wanting to bake. We had owned a one-truck trucking company. There was a year I made treats for the local shops and mechanics who always took care of us. 900+ cookies later and a day in the kitchen was tiring, but still felt so worth the effort.
The year 2020 came along and new challenges arrived. I started home schooling our son and found an inner peace by making this decision a full time adventure. In this new adventure, he has been helping me with the graphics of this beautiful page, teaching me how to use new platforms and other technical advise that only a teenager can offer to his (aging) mom.
It is with a very thankful heart that my family and friends have all encouraged me to walk into this chapter of my life and follow a long standing dream of helping people feel happy and loved through my baking.
